Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to assess patients' histories and identify personalized treatment pathways.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Run both individual and group therapy sessions, aiding patients in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering healing.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for every patient.

• Provide timely crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available support resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation aligned with industry standards and best practices.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing education to remain informed on trauma-informed care best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse, accidents, or significant life changes that have led to PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. This role is critical in helping these individuals navigate their journey toward recovery, using informed and empathetic care strategies tailored to their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW within the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, with a strong emphasis on trauma-related treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment methodologies, including trauma-informed care principles.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and adapting to various computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
