Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand the nuanced history and needs of each patient.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies for trauma recovery, ensuring a personalized approach to care.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions where patients can process their trauma and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to create integrated care strategies tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating expert judgment and a calm presence.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and healthy coping strategies, empowering them in their journey toward healing.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record systems for efficiency and accuracy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily serves individuals who have experienced trauma of varying intensities, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
