Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and establish individualized treatment plans.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients navigate difficult situations with confidence and care.

• Collaborating with other team members to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal care delivery.

• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to foster understanding and empowerment.

• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accountability and transparency.

• Participating in case consultations, professional development, and team meetings to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary population you will work with includes individuals affected by complex trauma, PTSD, and dissociation. You'll have the opportunity to engage deeply with clients, understanding their unique experiences and tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs. This role involves guiding clients along their paths toward recovery, resilience, and improved overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and various trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine, compassionate nature.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
\n
• An ability to remain composed in high-stress situations while providing high-quality care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n
