Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and collaboratively identify suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and holistic well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each patient's needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing their trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and promoting emotional healing.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure patients receive integrated, comprehensive care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to empower them in their healing journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, particularly in trauma-focused settings.

• Robust knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is essential.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental atmosphere for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
