Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient's trauma history and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, adapting interventions based on the patient's progress and feedback.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that empower patients to process past traumas, cultivate coping strategies, and navigate their healing journeys.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients through shared treatment strategies.

• Respond to crisis situations effectively, providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.

• Engage with patients and their families, supplying education about trauma-related responses and emphasizing available coping resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards to support treatment continuity and regulatory compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals who have encountered severe trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other distressing experiences. You will guide clients through their healing process by employing targeted interventions designed to address their unique challenges and empower them toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
