Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing therapists to work from the comfort and safety of their homes while utilizing our advanced telehealth platform. Our telehealth facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology to facilitate seamless interaction between therapists and clients, ensuring that therapy remains effective and accessible. Our standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to identify patients' emotional, psychological, and social needs, forming the basis for tailored treatment plans.

• Employ various evidence-based therapeutic interventions—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy—to address the diverse concerns of individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, providing a safe space for shared experiences and community-building among clients.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to offer holistic, cohesive patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services for clients during emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety.
\n
• Educate clients on varying mental health conditions, treatment methods, and pertinent community resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential records following legal and ethical guidelines, using our electronic health record system efficiently.

• Actively participate in regular case consultations and staff meetings to share insights and enhance the quality of our services.

• Stay current with the latest research in the mental health field to continually refine therapeutic approaches and client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapists at Paragon Behavioral Health Center work with a diverse client base, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and seniors. Our patients present a multitude of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and co-occurring disorders involving substance use. Each therapist is expected to foster an inclusive, empathetic environment that supports every individual's unique journey toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure in New Jersey as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies and therapeutic interventions.

• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and create effective treatment plans tailored to diverse client needs.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy across various populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, vital for establishing rapport with clients and coordinating with team members.

• Adherence to ethical standards and professional boundaries in all interactions.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and various digital tools for therapy.
