Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly understand each client's history and current mental state.

• Create and carry out personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and promote resilience in clients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through their emotional responses and fostering effective coping strategies.

• Engage in inter-professional collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Respond to crisis situations with professionalism and empathy, offering immediate support to clients in distress.

• Educate clients and their families on the effects of trauma, developing collaboratively tailored coping mechanisms and external resource navigation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele primarily consists of individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role requires a genuine commitment to understanding the unique experiences and needs of trauma survivors. Your professional support will be instrumental in helping these individuals reclaim their narratives and work towards holistic healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to manage high-pressure situations calmly and effectively, providing a steady presence for clients.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital platforms for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value any extensive background in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Candidates with a strong commitment to professional development and continued education in mental health care will be favored.

Compensation and Benefits\n
