Work Environment\n

This position operates primarily in a remote setting with occasional collaborative sessions at our Spokane office if needed. While we maintain a flexible work model, we prioritize meeting our patients' needs, which may require some adjustments to regular work hours. The work schedule typically follows a Monday through Friday format from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while supporting individuals on their journey to recovery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ trauma histories and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Create, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on resilience-building and progress evaluation.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering therapeutic dialogue that aids patients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and enhancing overall well-being.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate integrated care plans and address complex patient needs.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and understood.
\n
• Inform and educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for efficient management.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, case consultations, and team meetings focused on advanced trauma-informed care strategies.

• Stay informed on the latest research and innovate therapeutic techniques to enhance trauma therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our ideal candidate will be working primarily with adults and adolescents who are experiencing the impacts of trauma. This may include those with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders. Your role will be critical in empowering these individuals to navigate their challenges, fostering resilience and encouraging positive change in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington is required.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing therapeutic services, specifically related to trauma therapy.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a variety of trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, characterized by compassion, patience, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.

• Capability to remain calm and work effectively under stress, maintaining a professional demeanor.
\n
• Proficiency in EHR systems and various computer applications for effective patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
