Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, identifying their individual needs for tailored treatment.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and holistic mental health.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during sessions.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, cultivate coping skills, and promote their overall healing.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing trauma-related distress or emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available mental health resources, empowering them throughout the recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient information.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Hill Crest Counseling Services, your primary focus will be on individuals who have been impacted by various forms of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license in the state of California as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience providing mental health treatment, preferably in trauma-focused settings.

• A thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed clinical practices that emphasize resilience and recovery.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect compassionately with diverse populations, ensuring a non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
