Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and continuously refine individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each patient's unique needs.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate the processing of trauma, the development of coping mechanisms, and the promotion of healing among patients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical providers, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure a comprehensive care approach for every patient.

• Provide crisis intervention, offering immediate support during traumatic emergencies to ensure both patient safety and regulatory compliance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance understanding and recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to adhere to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating new insights into therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses specifically on serving individuals who have experienced trauma, addressing their distinct mental health challenges and guiding them toward recovery. Our clients may present with a variety of trauma-related disorders, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues related to traumatic experiences. We prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships with clients to foster trust, openness, and effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is essential for this role.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in trauma-informed care or related fields.

Compensation and Benefits\n
