Work Environment\n

The role is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technologies to connect with patients, which allows for flexibility and convenience. The work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, however, some flexibility will be required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique history and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Formulate and execute individualized treatment plans designed to promote trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based strategies.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist patients in processing their trauma.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that addresses the physical and emotional aspects of trauma recovery.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during high-stress situations, ensuring that patients have access to immediate care when needed.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to improve understanding and engagement in the recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to all ethical and legal standards required in mental health care.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on advancements in trauma-informed care and strategies.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving individuals who have endured various forms of trauma. You will be working with a diverse clientele, including those battling PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise in trauma-informed care will be crucial in helping clients navigate their healing journeys and develop effective coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed mental health professional is preferred.

• Robust knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatments, particularly trauma-focused modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms for effective patient management.

• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver cohesive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
