The role requires participation in regular virtual meetings and consultations to ensure effective communication regarding patient treatment and care strategies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and formulate customized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy to assist individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that aim to address common mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, and substance abuse while fostering a sense of community among participants.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure consistent care and swift adjustments in treatment plans as necessary.

• Respond to crisis situations with appropriate interventions to provide immediate support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, ensuring they are aware of treatment options and community resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR), complying with all legal, ethical, and professional standards in documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals facing a wide array of mental health issues including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Therapists will have the opportunity to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, navigating complex challenges and supporting them towards recovery and stability in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or above in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in Massachusetts.

• Solid knowledge of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based therapeutic methods.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy, especially among diverse populations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on communication and empathy.

• Adherence to ethical guidelines and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and associated software applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
