Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to discern clients' trauma histories and devise appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans centered around individual trauma recovery goals and resilience-building techniques.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help clients process their trauma effectively.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping clients cultivate coping mechanisms and achieve personal healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure clients receive timely help.

• Educating clients and their support systems on trauma responses and healthy coping strategies.

• Maintaining comprehensive, accurate, and confidential client records in accordance with all regulatory and ethical standards.

• Participating in professional development activities, team meetings, and case consultations that concentrate on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The services you provide will play a crucial role in helping trauma survivors navigate their healing journey and rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate for this role will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications for documentation and client management.

• A commitment to continuous learning, particularly in trauma-informed care approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience in a related field is preferred, candidates with exceptional clinical skills and a passion for trauma work are encouraged to apply.
