Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to meticulously evaluate patients' trauma history and establish their specific treatment needs.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and the enhancement of resilience skills.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including specialized modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting patients in processing their trauma, learning effective coping strategies, and enhancing their overall mental well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care that addresses all facets of mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and optimal care outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems in accordance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives centered around trauma-informed care and best practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance the therapeutic services provided to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist with Person-centered Psychology Services, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, addressing the psychological ramifications of their experiences. Our patient population includes adults and adolescents who may struggle with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will involve fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship that encourages healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

Compensation and Benefits\n
