This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while ensuring that you are equipped with the necessary training and support to engage effectively with clients. As part of our telehealth facility, you will use digital platforms to conduct assessments and therapy sessions, collaborating with a diverse and multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand clients’ trauma histories and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized therapeutic strategies focused on enhancing resilience and facilitating recovery from trauma.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective treatment.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for clients to process their experiences and develop coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for your clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources for additional support.

• Maintain accurate client records, adhering to all legal and ethical standards for confidentiality.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in case consultations and team meetings, focusing on trauma-informed care approaches.

• Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on treating individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, or any traumatic life experiences. You will play a crucial part in their healing journey, helping them develop resilience, rebuild trust, and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the State of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in clinical practice, particularly within trauma-informed settings.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Calmness and strategic thinking during high-pressure situations.
\n
• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, capable of functioning within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
