Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather detailed histories from patients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their individual trauma backgrounds.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient, with particular focus on trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Employ innovative therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and progress.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to share and process their experiences, thus promoting emotional growth and coping strategies.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention services, guiding patients through trauma-related emergencies with calmness and professionalism.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals and groups affected by trauma, with an emphasis on those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in trauma-informed care.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with patients.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who possess at least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly working with trauma-related conditions. Compensation and Benefits\n
