Operating out of Columbus, Georgia, our outpatient psychiatric practice specializes in treating an extensive range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. We utilize evidence-based therapies and personalized treatment plans to help our patients achieve optimal mental well-being.

Work Environment\n

All services are provided via telehealth, allowing our team members to offer flexible therapy options that cater to patients' busy lives. Our remote setting fosters a collaborative atmosphere where therapists can engage with one another through virtual meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While the core hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' needs, strengths, and goals, then develop tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, for individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a sense of community and shared understanding among patients.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare team members to ensure that patient care is comprehensive and integrated.

• Provide crisis intervention services to support patients during mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, engage them in their treatment options, and connect them with relevant community resources.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively engage in performance improvement initiatives, attending case consultations and team meetings to share insights and best practices.

• Remain current on the latest research, trends, and advancements in the field of mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders and familiarity with various evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Experience in conducting comprehensive assessments and creating effective, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Ability to deliver therapy to diverse populations, demonstrating sensitivity to their unique backgrounds and circumstances.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building and trust with clients.

• Strong ethical standards, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficiency with EHR systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and confidentiality.

• Team-oriented mindset with a strong ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable but not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
