Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of client mood disorder symptoms, ensuring personalized and appropriate treatment plans are developed.

• Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into full account their unique needs, preferences, and clinical goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance clients' coping mechanisms and emotional regulation.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, strategies for self-care, and pathways for crisis intervention.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adapting treatment strategies as required to optimize outcomes and effectiveness throughout the healing journey.

• Engage regularly with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to care, facilitating integrated recovery plans.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mental health treatments, particularly mood disorders, to refine therapeutic approaches and inform practice.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in routine case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights to collaboratively improve treatment practices within our team.

• Actively work to reduce stigma around mental health conditions, advocating for the needs of clients while empowering them in their mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve primarily include individuals struggling with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our client base is diverse, encompassing various backgrounds, ages, and socioeconomic statuses, requiring a therapist who can adapt their approach to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities tailored for mood disorders, especially CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology, crucial for effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical care providers.

• Demonstrated experience delivering successful treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
