Work Environment\n

Our clinic offers a flexible, remote working environment that prioritizes therapist well-being while promoting collaboration and support among team members. Although you will primarily work from home, you will have access to our outpatient office resources and technology to facilitate patient care. We operate from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain clients' distinct needs and establish individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to individuals, couples, and families, ensuring diverse therapeutic approaches to maximize patient progress.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups aimed at fostering community and addressing prevalent mental health issues, thus enhancing the patients’ social support networks.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals within our clinic to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.

• Respond to crises and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies, including conducting safety assessments and developing crisis intervention plans.
\n
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, explore available treatment options, and connect them with community resources to encourage active participation in their recovery process.
\n
• Ensure meticulous and confidential record-keeping in line with legal and ethical standards within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Participate in case consultations, attend team meetings for client review, and engage in professional development sessions to enhance clinical skills.

• Stay informed on contemporary research and advancements in mental health to integrate new findings into daily practice and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at The Good Mind Psychiatric Clinic, you will work with a diverse patient population facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• Proven expertise in mental health disorders and a variety of evidence-based therapeutic methods.

• Track record of conducting effective mental health assessments and crafting actionable treatment strategies.
\n
• Substantial experience providing individual and group therapy within a variety of clinical settings.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.

• Strong ethical foundation and judgment, underscoring your commitment to professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of relevant clinical experience in a similar setting.
