Work Environment\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily in a remote setting connected with clients through telehealth platforms. This innovative approach allows us to reach more individuals, providing flexible access to care during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, including evaluating symptom severity, frequency, and duration.

• Work collaboratively with clients to design individualized treatment plans that are responsive to their personal goals and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support positive outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster empowerment.

• Monitor clients' progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to their treatment plans to ensure efficacy.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other professionals to provide integrated care that meets each client's holistic mental health needs.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development, including case consultations and team meetings to share best practices and new research findings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. The counselor plays a critical role in providing support to a diverse clientele, including adults, teenagers, and families, who seek assistance in managing their mental health. A culturally sensitive approach is vital as our clients come from various backgrounds and may face unique challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A strong grasp of psychopharmacology and effective collaboration skills with psychiatrists and other health professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
