This position allows for a flexible remote work setting, enabling our counselors to balance their professional responsibilities with personal well-being. While most of your work will be conducted remotely, you may occasionally need to liaise with colleagues in our outpatient office located in Savannah, GA. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed, culturally sensitive mental health assessments for clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique backgrounds, experiences, and challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect individual patient's cultural and personal identities.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on addressing mental health conditions, enhancing resilience, and promoting overall well-being.

• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver coordinated care that meets the holistic needs of our clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, assisting clients in navigating mental health emergencies effectively and empathically.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources to foster informed decision-making.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment processes in line with legal and ethical standards, while maintaining confidentiality.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training to continually enhance service delivery and personal development.

• Regularly update personal knowledge of best practices and emerging research in the field of mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A strong foundation in understanding mental health disorders coupled with evidence-based treatment approaches, with a particular focus on cultural competence in therapy.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy that is inclusive, respectful, and responsive to the cultural needs of clients.

• Exceptional crisis management skills, allowing you to remain poised and effective during challenging situations.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, with a demonstrated skill in building rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to navigate relevant computer applications smoothly.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
