Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients focused on reducing stress and achieving relaxation.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients' unique stressors, personal challenges, and therapeutic goals, customizing mindfulness practices to fit their individual needs.

• Guide clients through a variety of mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques aimed at enhancing self-awareness and promoting emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes centered on mindfulness practices, effective stress management strategies, and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Incorporate mindfulness seamlessly into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns and ensuring holistic client growth.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to integrate mindfulness into a more comprehensive treatment plan, ensuring every client’s needs are met.

• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans to facilitate ongoing care and accountability.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and engage in personal mindfulness practices to continually enhance your expertise in counseling and mindfulness.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Experience in implementing mindfulness-based practices in therapeutic settings is preferred, although extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is not mandatory.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness into therapeutic interventions and a genuine desire to support clients in their healing journeys.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a calming, supportive therapeutic environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in conducting group therapy sessions and workshops on mindfulness and stress management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
