Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through initial screenings and ongoing assessments, ensuring accurate documentation from the first consultation through to treatment completion.

• Develop tailored treatment and recovery plans for diverse clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on evidence-based interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging a safe space for open dialogue and healing.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, utilizing feedback loops to ensure effectiveness.

• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including mental health specialists, nurses, and social workers, to create holistic intervention plans.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and proactively develop strategies to mitigate these challenges.

• Provide support and guidance to family members and caregivers to enhance their understanding and ability to assist clients facing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, encompassing various age groups and backgrounds. Our clients often present with a range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related issues, and addiction. This role emphasizes a personalized approach to each client’s treatment, fostering an environment of trust and respect.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to ensure meticulous documentation and care coordination.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to connect empathetically with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor, ideally in a community health setting.

• Familiarity with best practices set by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Deep understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health issues, including co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions.

• Experience assisting clients with substance use disorders is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, and includes a generous sign-on bonus.
