Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility while allowing the counselor to connect with students in a school setting. Our work schedules are structured to accommodate a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life, with a typical work week from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There may be occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends as necessary, contributing to a dynamic work atmosphere that prioritizes student needs and staff well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the specific needs of students with various conditions.

• Develop and tailor individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing mental health, emotional well-being, and fostering successful school integration.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions suitable for students diagnosed with ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and others facing emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, promoting personal growth, emotional regulation, and the development of coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate actively with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other professionals to provide holistic care for every student.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
\n
• Deliver psychoeducational workshops for students and their families, increasing awareness about mental health issues and the resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain precise documentation of all interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to a high-quality care environment.

• Engage in team meetings and professional development activities to continuously enhance service delivery and clinical practices.

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children who require specialized attention due to emotional and behavioral challenges, learning disabilities, and trauma experiences. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care.
\n
• Proven ability to conduct mental health assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop multifaceted treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in educational settings.

• Experience utilizing various therapeutic approaches in both individual and group therapy formats.

• Capability to handle crisis situations effectively and compassionately while maintaining professionalism.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred, strengthening your ability to maintain records efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The anticipated salary range for this full-time position is between USD 60,000 and USD 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
