With a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 105,000 per year , plus bonuses and a sign-on incentive, your role will directly impact the lives of young individuals and their families.

Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work within a structured community health clinic setting. By utilizing telehealth technology, our therapists connect with young patients and families in their homes, ensuring that they receive the necessary support wherever they are. Although a standard schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their unique emotional and psychological needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that take into consideration individual developmental stages, family backgrounds, and cultural contexts.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy, to provide effective interventions.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that engage parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process, enhancing familial relationships and communication.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure a unified approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during times of acute distress, ensuring immediate care and appropriate follow-up.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health issues and available treatment options, emphasizing community resources and support networks.

• Maintain confidential and compliant documentation of patient interactions according to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending team meetings and participating in case consultations to stay updated on the latest in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on children and adolescents dealing with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavioral challenges. You will play a crucial role in guiding young individuals and their families through complex emotional landscapes, employing a child-centered approach tailored to each unique situation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrable knowledge and application of child and adolescent mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and family therapy, with a focus on youth populations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on establishing trust and rapport with young clients and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

• A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work alongside other mental health and medical professionals.

Preferred Experience\n
