Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of students and create tailored treatment plans that address their unique challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other modalities to deliver effective individual, group, and family therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at helping students develop coping strategies and foster resilience.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, school counselors, and educators, to ensure holistic patient care and coordinated interventions.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services for students experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about various mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and community resources that can provide additional support.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate case documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending case consultations, team meetings, and workshops to enhance therapeutic skills and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your key focus will be on students exhibiting a range of mental health difficulties, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Collaborating closely with schools, you will develop programs tailored to address specific needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents, creating a positive community impact through mental health education.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada is mandatory.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and therapeutic best practices.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting thorough assessments and developing effective treatment plans for both individuals and groups.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive therapeutic relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and scheduling, along with a strong comfort level using technology for remote therapy platforms.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting, specifically working with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
