This position is remote, allowing you flexibility while you collaborate with on-campus staff and students. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of students, ensuring comprehensive understanding and tailored treatment options.

• Deliver short-term individual counseling services to students facing anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health challenges through evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops addressing key issues such as coping strategies, stress management, and emotional regulation.

• Collaborate with on-campus partners, including academic advisors and student organizations, to strategize comprehensive supports for students’ success.

• Participate in outreach initiatives, such as mental health awareness campaigns and wellness events, to foster a culture of awareness regarding mental health amongst the campus community.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines, ensuring optimal support and accountability in care provision.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage primarily with college-age students, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues typical to this demographic. Qualifications\n

• An active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• Strong understanding of mental health issues unique to college students, with the ability to apply contemporary therapeutic techniques.
