Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Brighter Days, you will primarily focus on a diverse population of students ranging from elementary through high school who are grappling with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Given the emphasis on mental health in educational settings today, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring these individuals receive the biopsychosocial support necessary for their academic and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or an equivalent field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.

• An understanding of psychopharmacology, allowing for effective communication and collaboration with psychiatrists.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
