Work Environment\n

This is a full-time, remote position that allows for flexible work-life integration. Our schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment that enhances work satisfaction and productivity. As a licensed professional, you will work from a home office but will engage regularly with clients and colleagues via telehealth platforms, ensuring high-quality care in the outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct preliminary assessments and ongoing evaluations to accurately identify client needs, develop therapeutic goals, and monitor progress over time.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s circumstances, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant methodologies.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, aiming to foster understanding and empowerment around mental health issues.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development and learning opportunities to enhance service delivery and maintain licensure.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve engaging with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other emotional and psychological concerns. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and understanding their unique circumstances and cultural contexts is key to providing effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling is required.

• Active licensure in New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• Proficiency in using telehealth technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate trusting relationships with clients and effective communication within the team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly within an outpatient setting.
