Healing Hearts Counseling is seeking dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our team in full-time, remote positions focused on providing school-based mental health services. In this role, you will not only conduct assessments and develop treatment plans but also collaborate with educational staff to support students’ mental health needs within a school setting.

Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, offering flexibility while engaging with students and educational staff. You will work during standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility based on specific student needs. Your work environment will be collaborative, engaging with educators, parents, and other healthcare providers to create a robust support system for the students you serve.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students to identify their individual needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, focusing on measurable outcomes and behavioral change.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic techniques tailored to your client's needs.

• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate mental health strategies into the school culture and ensure students receive holistic care.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups for students, parents, and teachers to foster understanding and destigmatize mental health issues.

• Respond to mental health crises by providing immediate intervention and support as needed.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss progress, share strategies, and promote professional development. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation following ethical standards.

• Stay informed on the latest research, methodologies, and trends in mental health therapy to continually enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary client focus will be school-aged children, adolescents, and their families experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related stress. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices.
\n
• Experience in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.

• Exceptional ability to communicate and build rapport with students, families, and educational professionals.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining documentation and compliance.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to embracing technology in service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapy in a clinical or school-based setting, preferably with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
