Work Environment\n

This role is structured within a remote work setting, yet it is within the framework of an outpatient office. You will collaborate with a supportive team—a mix of experienced counselors, social workers, and administrative staff—dedicated to creating a nurturing virtual environment that prioritizes patient care. You will have access to telehealth tools, electronic health records systems, and various virtual platforms that facilitate seamless interaction with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Supervise and manage the clinical care of patients with diverse psychological needs, employing advanced clinical skills and techniques.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and prepare detailed treatment logs, which include monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each patient, while incorporating evidence-based practices.

• Exhibit proficiency in crisis intervention and provide effective therapeutic interventions during high-pressure situations.
\n
• Formulate and implement personalized counseling strategies for clients and their families, taking into account their specific challenges and therapeutic goals.

• Work collaboratively with patients and their families to develop actionable resolution plans that enhance psychological wellbeing and foster independence.

• Maintain accurate documentation of care strategies, progress reports, and any necessary revisions to treatment plans.
\n
• Provide educational resources and supportive programs to patients and their families to aid in their understanding and management of mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a wide range of patients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and behavioral disturbances. Each case presents unique situations that require careful assessment and intervention. Your input not only aids individual recovery but also contributes significantly to the overall well-being of the community we serve in Lakewood, New Jersey, and beyond.

Qualifications\n

• A completed Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required, with preference given to candidates holding a Master’s degree or Ph.D.

• Current licensure as either an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD is mandatory to practice as a counselor.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical mental health setting; experience with remote counseling is a plus.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience with diverse populations and familiarity with telehealth practices will be beneficial. Candidates with experience in crisis intervention, group therapy, and family counseling are highly sought after.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Summit Oaks Care Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 135,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, you can earn bonuses of up to $2,000 based on state licensure and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
