You will work primarily from your home, but will engage regularly with our multi-disciplinary team through digital platforms and virtual meetings. Our outpatient facility is designed to ensure our counselors have the resources they need to support client treatment effectively, including access to electronic health record systems like AVATAR.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during preliminary consultations, documenting each step in the client’s therapeutic journey.

• Assess clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health using established diagnostic frameworks.
\n
• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on their unique needs.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and encouraging environment for sharing and healing.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with a range of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to coordinate a holistic approach to client care.

• Provide follow-ups with healthcare providers for clients who have been hospitalized, ensuring continuity of care.

• Implement strategies to identify and mitigate behaviors that could hinder recovery, advocating for client needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Successful completion of the NCE or NCMHCE exams demonstrating expertise in counseling.
\n
• Solid foundational experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing a depth of practical expertise in the field.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as AVATAR for documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients who present with complex mental and emotional health conditions, including co-occurring disorders involving physical health issues.

• Familiarity with the best practices of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is highly desirable.

Regain Strength Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 , along with a sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates.
