Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments with clients to identify their specific concerns and collaboratively create tailored treatment plans that set clear goals for therapy.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic modalities suited to each client’s individual needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring clients' safety and stabilizing their mental health status as needed.

• Collaborate regularly with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to offer comprehensive support that addresses the holistic needs of our clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to remain informed on best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling.

• Contribute to program development initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions based on your counseling experiences and client outcomes.

• Document all client interactions and progress accurately in our electronic medical records system, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge in mental health principles.

• Current licensure as an LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Maryland, validating your ability to provide authorized therapeutic services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary for this full-time counseling position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually , reflecting our commitment to compensating our counselors fairly for their invaluable contributions. Our counselors also receive a monthly healthcare stipend, access to mental health services as clients while actively employed, and the flexibility to create a work schedule that fits their personal needs.
