Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the emotional and behavioral needs of patients, developing actionable treatment plans based on evaluation results.

• Deliver crisis intervention services for individuals experiencing severe psychological distress, ensuring timely and effective support.

• Document patient interactions meticulously, maintaining accurate clinical records and progress notes that adhere to the departmental standards and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including social workers and medical professionals, to devise comprehensive treatment strategies and discharge plans based on psychosocial assessments.

• Engage in community outreach and relationship-building with local service providers, representing Shirley Mental Health Services at relevant meetings and on committees aimed at addressing patients’ social and mental health needs.

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families seeking assistance with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Possession of one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
