Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your essential duties will include:

• Developing individualized treatment and discharge plans based on each client’s unique needs and challenges, providing both individual and group counseling sessions weekly.

• Overseeing the documentation in client charts, ensuring that all records comply with licensing standards, and participate in quality assurance initiatives to maintain high care practices.

• Actively contributing to clinical team meetings, sharing insights and leveraging collective expertise to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Facilitating comprehensive treatment planning updates to reflect all applicable treatment modalities and ensuring all relevant parties are informed.

• Coordinating necessary treatment services and maintaining regular contact with clients’ families and referral sources to promote holistic care.

• Actively participating in in-service training and professional development opportunities to continually improve your skills and contribute to the team's growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use disorders. By utilizing evidence-based practices and a person-centered approach, you will support clients in navigating their treatment journey while fostering resilience and hope.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field, such as MA Clinical Social Work or MA Counseling.

• A valid license such as LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in California; candidates holding only an associate license will not be considered.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, to manage documentation and telehealth platforms effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously in a busy environment with multiple client cases.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n
