Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students who are pursuing clinical licensure or actively engaged in their Master’s programs, ensuring they receive adequate support in their professional development.

• Deliver exceptional psychotherapy services tailored to individuals, couples, and families; utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to meet diverse client needs.

• Proactively collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals and community resources to promote holistic care for clients, facilitating referrals and joint initiatives as necessary.

• Contribute meaningfully to the development and implementation of customized treatment plans, ensuring they reflect best practices and are responsive to client progress.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation that complies with legal standards, as well as organizational protocols, ensuring continuity of care.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of current research, therapeutic advancements, and emerging best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a diverse range of clients seeking support for various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. The therapist will work with individuals and families across different age groups and cultural backgrounds, focusing on empowering each client through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.

• A valid state-issued license: (LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, LMHC).

• Professional liability insurance valid in New York.
\n
• Minimum two years of experience in a clinical setting providing mental health counseling and therapy.

• Experience supervising practicum students or early-career therapists is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and a commitment to evidence-based practices.

• Knowledge of community resources and mental health programs in New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as paid parental leave, holiday pay, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Our compensation structure is designed to be above market rates and includes uncapped earning potential.
