Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, ensuring the delivery of effective therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs.

• Perform thorough bio-psychosocial assessments to inform treatment planning and identify immediate and long-term goals for each client.

• Facilitate the development of an individualized treatment plan in collaboration with clients, and perform regular evaluations to adjust strategies as necessary.

• Create and oversee aftercare and discharge plans, preparing clients for the next steps in their recovery journey.

• Monitor and document client progress, maintaining accurate records in accordance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies.

• Participate in case review meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support a varied client population including adults, children, and families, many of whom are facing co-occurring disorders and the challenges of substance use. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A valid and unrestricted license as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in New York State.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating effective patient counseling.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective therapist-client interactions and teamwork.

• A commitment to a patient-centered approach, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , offering competitive compensation based on your experience and qualifications.
