Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and preliminary interviews to gather relevant client history and diagnose mental health issues.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans based on individual, family, and group needs.
\n
• Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions, promoting skill development and emotional processing.

• Monitoring client progress throughout the therapeutic journey, assessing the effectiveness of interventions, and making necessary adjustments.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and enhance intervention plans that address the complex needs of clients.

• Maintaining regular communication with primary care providers and psychiatrists to ensure continuity of care for clients who may require hospitalization.

• Educating and empowering family members and caregivers to navigate mental health challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills combined with a genuine passion for helping others.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Familiarity with clinical best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Experience addressing a wide range of mental health conditions and co-occurring disorders.

• Adept understanding of the impact of medications prescribed by other health professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
