Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including initial assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing assessments, documenting progress and changes throughout the treatment process.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessment results, ensuring they align with best practices in mental health counseling.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster new insights and positive behavioral changes.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress towards treatment goals, making adjustments to the intervention strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each client's care, especially in cases requiring multifaceted intervention.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW or equivalent in the state of California.

• Completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) with a passing score is essential.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on creating therapeutic dialogue and building rapport with clients.
