Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the backgrounds and needs of patients, identifying suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery in accordance with best practices.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to explore their experiences and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, offering resources to assist in their recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and innovations in trauma therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is essential in helping these individuals navigate their healing journeys, offering dedicated support and tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Florida.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit with an ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
