Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while serving clients across the state of Florida. As a full-time employee, you will enjoy a structured schedule with hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories, determining the best therapeutic approaches to their unique situations.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, helping clients cultivate resilience through evidence-based practices.
\n
• Utilize effective therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients’ healing processes.

• Closely collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring comprehensive care through ongoing communication with psychiatrists and related professionals.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during traumatic emergencies, ensuring client safety and stability.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on understanding trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, while also guiding them to additional resources when necessary.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate records of client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss client care strategies and share insights on trauma-informed practices.

• Continuously update your knowledge of best practices in trauma therapy, attending professional development workshops and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients often require sensitive and tailored approaches that empower them through their recovery journeys. We are committed to fostering a safe space for clients to navigate their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and methodologies for trauma-informed treatment interventions.

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that effectively address client needs.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor towards clients.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations while remaining calm and supportive.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications essential for documenting client interactions and treatments.

• A collaborative spirit that values teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional qualifications or certifications in trauma-focused therapies may be viewed favorably. Specific expertise in working with diverse populations or within community health settings will also enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits\n
