Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and devise tailored treatment strategies based on their unique experiences.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and enhancing resilience through measurable goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring each session aligns with best-practice standards.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to express their feelings, process trauma, and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and integrated care, addressing all aspects of patient well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention services to support patients during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing sound clinical judgment and emotional intelligence.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, equipping them with the knowledge needed to navigate their healing journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals suffering from various trauma-related conditions, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will guide clients through their recovery journeys, helping them rebuild their lives after experiencing adverse events. You will engage with a diverse patient population, providing culturally competent care tailored to meet the unique experiences and needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
