Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the psychological impact of trauma on patients and to determine suitable treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at aiding trauma recovery and enhancing resilience using evidence-based methodologies.

• Provide specialized therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in processing their traumatic experiences.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients develop coping mechanisms and promote emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive, integrated care for all patients.
\n
• Offer immediate crisis intervention support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring safety and stability for clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to support their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of patient interactions in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to stay current with trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including veterans, survivors of abuse, and individuals experiencing complex trauma. Your focus will be on facilitating healing pathways that respect the unique experiences of each patient, helping them gain tools to navigate their trauma and improve their overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) within the state of Florida.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably with a focus on trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
