Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring the highest standards of care are upheld.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to gather essential data and monitor progress, tailoring interventions to meet specific client needs.

• Create and implement crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans as required through proactive engagement.

• Document clinical encounters in a timely manner to meet regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with all agency and state regulations.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to construct positive behavior support plans that align with client goals.

• Engage actively in agency-wide initiatives, contributing insights during licensing and accreditation processes to enhance service quality.

• Maintain effective communication with community partners, service systems, and state agencies to ensure comprehensive resource availability for clients.

• Participate in professional development opportunities, including attending conferences and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support agency objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Arc Mental Counseling Center, you will provide essential services to a diverse client population, including individuals facing emotional health challenges, those in recovery from substance use, and clients with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their therapeutic journey, providing personalized support that enhances their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is mandatory for this position.

• A valid, Independent LMHC License issued by the state board is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
