The Life Well Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is remote, allowing counselors to deliver high-quality mental health services through our telehealth platform. You will engage with clients through secure telehealth sessions, using advanced electronic health record systems such as AVATAR, which streamline documentation and care coordination. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Life Well Counseling Center, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough preliminary interviews with clients and documenting their cases from initial contact through the course of treatment.
\n
• Evaluating clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to inform treatment decisions.
\n
• Developing individualized treatment plans that address the needs of clients across various demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions—both individual and group—utilizing therapeutic techniques to foster healing and personal growth.
\n
• Continuously monitoring clients’ progress and adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, aiming for cohesive client care and management.
\n
• Following up on clients who have been referred for additional psychiatric evaluations or treatments, ensuring continuity of care.
\n
• Identifying and addressing potential barriers that may hinder client recovery and supporting family members in navigating mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• A pass score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) standards and best practices, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey thoughts and therapeutic concepts to clients and colleagues.

• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a genuine desire to support clients through challenging times.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
