This role not only offers flexibility in scheduling, with typical work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but also encourages collaboration among team members to develop integrated treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories, influencing individualized treatment approaches.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and the unique needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to help patients process their trauma and cultivate effective coping strategies.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, and guide clients through immediate challenges.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Keep abreast of the latest research, best practices, and new therapeutic techniques in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value a strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies. Candidates should have proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems will further distinguish successful applicants.
