Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and determine the most appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that cater specifically to the recovery needs of each client, with an emphasis on resilience building.

• Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client’s unique situation.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting clients in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering a healing environment.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, prioritizing the safety and emotional stability of clients.

• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential client documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, upholding the integrity of sensitive information.

• Contribute to team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities focused on trauma-informed care practices and advancements in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on individuals impacted by significant trauma, including but not limited to those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients may possess various backgrounds and experiences, necessitating a compassionate, culturally sensitive approach to therapy. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.

• Demonstrated strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• The ability to remain poised and composed when working with individuals in crisis or experiencing significant emotional distress.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications relevant to counseling and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably focused on trauma therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
