Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and psychosocial evaluations to understand each client’s needs and context accurately.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to facilitate recovery.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services when clients are in acute distress, ensuring effective management and continuous care.

• Maintain comprehensive, timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, as per regulatory guidelines.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed for effective self-management.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, engaging with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to enhance overall patient care.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes by monitoring client progress and making necessary adjustments to therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will primarily consist of individuals who have experienced trauma or mental health disorders requiring comprehensive therapeutic support. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW) in the state of New York.

• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team structure.

Compensation and Benefits\n
