Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. While you will primarily work from home, you will be part of a collaborative and dynamic virtual team. Regular communication through video conferencing and collaborative tools ensures that you stay connected with your colleagues and maintain a team-oriented atmosphere. Your regular work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured work rhythm.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patient's mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools to identify specific areas of concern.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual patient needs and coping strategies, focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Engage in active listening during patient sessions to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship, empowering patients to share their experiences and emotions.

• Educate patients and their families on effective stress and trauma management techniques, offering practical tools for daily application.

• Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued alignment with their therapeutic goals.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and medical professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Stay current with best practices in mental health counseling by completing continuing education courses to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.

The primary focus of this role is on individuals who have experienced trauma, facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our patients typically seek help for conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other emotional difficulties stemming from traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
