Work Environment\n

This role is designed to operate remotely, allowing for a structured, flexible work setting while still being connected to a supportive team environment. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to meet patient needs. Although the position is remote, you will be an active participant in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development through virtual formats.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of critical functions:

• Perform comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to understand and document patients' trauma histories, guiding the formulation of tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on recovery and resilience, incorporating the patient's unique experiences and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective treatment.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, supporting patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies to navigate their daily lives.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care that addresses psychological and medical needs.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, equipping patients with the skills and understandings necessary to manage acute distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, connecting them with relevant resources and support.

• Maintain high standards of documentation, ensuring adherence to ethical, legal, and organizational guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing trauma, including but not limited to survivors of abuse, neglect, war, and interpersonal violence. You will work to create a therapeutic space that is safe and conducive to healing, honoring each patient’s unique journey and fostering a sense of empowerment and agency.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in trauma-focused therapy.
\n
• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in therapeutic settings.

• The ability to maintain composure and resilience in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Though not mandatory, prior experience in remote counseling settings and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is favored. Additionally, experience in conducting educational workshops or groups focused on trauma recovery would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
